Why we are building tview

Make room for the people worth meeting.

Good hiring needs time and attention. Too much of both goes into setting up the first round, repeating introductory questions, and finding a time when everyone is free. We want to change that.

Why this team

We build products. We build teams. We know what the first round costs.

Our perspective brings together building a software business at 8lines and working inside larger organisations. One makes the cost of every expert hour visible. The other shows why a hiring process needs clear criteria, shared evidence, and a way to work across teams.

Engineering, delivery, and hiring

As the founder and engineering leader of 8lines, Konrad works close to both client problems and the people solving them. His approach to hiring looks beyond a technology stack: can someone understand the problem, take responsibility, and judge the quality of their work?

That is the engineering standard behind tview: AI should help collect useful evidence, while experienced people remain responsible for assessing it.

Product, customer experience, and business value

Rafał brings a product perspective shaped by entrepreneurship, work with 8lines, and experience in larger organisations. His focus is the whole journey: the problem a team needs to solve, the experience people have along the way, and the value of the result.

For tview, that means connecting recruiter setup, candidate flexibility, and expert review in one process. Saving time matters only when teams still have what they need to make a thoughtful decision.

The vision comes from the way we work.

At 8lines, the move toward product engineers reflects a belief that people should own problems, not just a narrow role. We want hiring to make room for the same idea: understand a person's strengths, decide whether you want to work together, then find the right place for them.

Our mission

A better first round.
For everyone involved.

Give recruiters a faster path from a hiring brief to a screening and interview plan. Give senior experts candidate answers and evidence before asking for their time.

Give candidates the freedom to take the online steps on their schedule, within a clear application window. Keep the decision with the people who will work together.

Our vision

Hire the person.
Then find their place.

We want more companies to be able to start with a different question: do we want this person on our team? Understand their strengths first, then explore where they can do their best work.

That takes a first round teams can afford to run more broadly. Today, tview organizes hiring by project and role. Our goal is to make those building blocks useful for a wider approach to hiring.

Less repetition

Let the product handle setup and collection so people can spend their attention on the conversation.

Evidence in context

Keep answers, submitted work, and evaluation details together. A score alone cannot tell the whole story.

People decide

Make AI output open to review. Recruiters and hiring teams decide who to meet and who to hire.
